My first Attempt at a Photo Shoot

Well, first of all I think you will all be glad to hear that Adiel did respond to the last post!! It's wierd that her and I have quite a bit in common. I hope that I'll have a chance to meet her again and indroduce her to my Adi.
Anyway, we have been so busy. Last week, just for fun I decided to see how well Adi would cooperate for a photo shoot and these are the only good shots I got. Next thing I now she was literally standing on her head and then ran to her room to play.


Well, I'm not giving up. I think I'll try again tomorrow.
We also signed up for gym memberships, finally. We get a really good corporate discount through All Connect at the Desert Palms. It's definitely no 24 Hour Fitness (where I worked pre-Adi for anyone that may not know). It's a lot smaller, but with the same ammount of equipment. So it feels kinda crowded. But overall, I do like it. I'm just glad to finally be able to work out again.
Friday, when William got off work, we left for Las Vegas. We went to a convention to get info for an idea that William has. At first I thought it was a little silly. He is full of ideas and inventions that are not all realistic. Well, after going to this convention and talking to people and getting even more ideas to make it better, I am way excited! I'm not going to tell you what it is until we have a model to show everyone. So you'll just have to wait in suspense.


Also, while we were there, we stayed with my aunt Cathy. This is her with Adi and my cousins, Damien & Christian. We had a lot of fun and REALLY appreciate Cathy letting us stay with her and for Christian letting us take over his room. We love you guys!

Bathtime Fun

There's a bump in the road!!

Well it's the fifth of December, and what a beautiful day! Stephanie and I (that's my sis-in-law) just took the kiddos for a walk, and you'll never believe what happened!! The weather's still nice, just slightly chilly so I decided to pack Adielle in her stroller with a bunch of blankets & pass on the buckles. We went clear down the street, through the park, around the pathway, back through the park and headed back up the street. As we were talking about the different people that lived on the street and she was telling me their names and we were looking at all the houses, Adi kept chucking stuff out the stroller. A blanket here, a toy there! And I kept running over them with the stroller or stepping on them. Then, just as we got in front of the house, the stroller stopped as though I were running something over or that I had just hit a rock or something. Well, it was something alright! It was Adi!! She had slipped out of the stroller and I ran right over her! Who knows, maybe she knew we were home and REALLY wanted to get inside!!
So just a little advice to all of my mom, mom-to-be, & thinking-about-being-a-mom-someday friends out there, ALWAYS BUCKLE YOUR SMALL CHILDREN IN THEIR STROLLER!! You never know what can happen! The blankets really held her in there fine but she kept pulling them out! What would you have done in the same situation?
